Good things are closer than you think.

The journey is as easy as the stay

All roads lead to Rome ... ehhh… Arnsberg! To our lovely little hotel in the Sauerland. Come by, we look forward to your visit here at weila. We’re also happy to be of help by phone and email – whether before, during or after your trip.

By car

For travellers coming from Dortmund, you can take the BAB 44 motorway to the Kreuz Werl junction. From there you can follow the signs towards Arnsberg. Access to Arnsberg’s old town is via Exit 65 from the BAB 46 motorway. For travellers driving on the BAB 44 from Kassel, you have two options: you can take the Soest exit (Exit 56) and follow the B 229 toward Möhnesee to Arnsberg, or you can continue to the Kreuz Werl junction. If coming from Soest, the B 229 will take you past the beautiful Möhnesee lake on your way to Arnsberg.

By train

Travellers coming from the Rhineland and Ruhr have two options: a 45-minute ride on the regional express from Dortmund to Arnsberg, or a train from Hagen or Schwerte that will get you to Arnsberg in 40 or 30 minutes, respectively. Travellers coming from Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe can take the two-hour train ride via regional express lines RE17 or RE57 on the Upper Ruhr Valley Railway (Obere Ruhrtalbahn) to Arnsberg.

By bike

Arnsberg is located directly on the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path. Other cycle paths that lead to Arnsberg include the R41 from Sorpesee lake and the R43 from Möhnesee lake. Cyclists arriving from Winterberg have several options: the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path (Ruhrtal Radlweg), and the R12 or R14 cycle paths.

By plane

Arnsberg is a 30-minute drive from both Dortmund Airport (on the BAB 44 motorway) and Paderborn-Lippstadt Airport. Düsseldorf Airport is about 1 hour and 15 minutes by car. The Arnsberg-Menden Airport is just a few minutes from the city centre.
